When winter weather arrived in Prescott, Ted and I decided to turn a planned week-long trip to Palm Springs into a three-week trip. We drove a car and the RV for maximum flexibility.
Feeling like I should give back to my new community, I picked a way to draw on old skills and learn more about my new home. I volunteer at the Sharlot Hall Museum, which is the local history museum, started by an illustrious woman of Prescott’s early days.

At the end of November we took off in our little new/old motorhome to discover southeast Arizona and visit with friends. We had a lovely week in Kauai with Kim and Eric. Having visited the island several times, we now enjoy the luxury of just being there, enjoying friends, food, and sunsets. We had dinner with JB in Kapaa and we went to Salt Pond Beach in Hanapepe.
