Well, we think we’ve had our last snow (in late February), which lasted just a few hours.
In March, Ted took an epic trip to New Orleans with his brothers.
We finally managed to see the big three Prescott Museums: The Phippen Museum of Western Art, The Sharlot Hall Museum (territorial history of Arizona and early Prescott history), and the Smoki Museum (Native American history and culture). And I started as a volunteer at the Sharlot Hall Museum Library and Archives.
Carol continues to show me new places to hike, most recently on the north side of Willow Lake by the zoo and off Pioneer Parkway.
Palm Springs friends Steve and Laura stopped by on their way back north, just time for dinner, breakfast, and a walk around the Courthouse Square.
We returned to the Courthouse Square for music following the Whiskey Row Off Road event. We did not participate in the mountain bike races, but we took advantage of the beer tent and music, with Dave.
Other than that, we manage to amuse ourselves with the mundane and sublime: relaxing in the hot tub, going to plays, doing puzzles, and subjecting Abbey to the groomer’s shears.
And we often find time for pie…
Because all that is so onerous, I took a break went to Puerto Peñasco with some wild women.
All in all, I think we are rockin’ retirement.
